Welcome our new team member

We are excited to introduce Marta Gil in today’s blog, who has recently joined our company. Marta holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry and a Master’s Degree in Applied Materials Chemistry. She brings a wealth of expertise in developing innovative solutions to societal challenges through chemistry, with a focus on applying advanced materials to address real-world problems.

Over the next few months, Marta will pursue an industrial PhD as part of MaxiSalt’s Salt Innovation Hub (SIH), where she will enhance her research and development skills. The Salt Innovation Hub is focused on establishing a pioneering laboratory dedicated to leading the investigation and research of new applications for salt. Additionally, it will serve as a hub of knowledge and data for all known salts globally, providing detailed reports on their chemical and technical specifications.

During her program, Marta will dedicate her efforts to researching the diverse salts found worldwide and creating a global salt library. She will also explore new projects, including innovative uses for salt, such as in salt batteries.

Marta chose to pursue this industrial PhD because she wanted to continue her education while gaining valuable experience in a professional environment. We are thrilled to have her on our team and look forward to the contributions she will make to our projects.

Welcome on board, Marta!
